The Japanese Higonokami folding knife presented here features a core crafted from Japanese Shirogami #2 White paper carbon steel, surrounded by a rolled soft steel forming the outer layer and handle. Masterfully hand-forged by the late Tomita-san, this double-sided sharpened knife boasts a sturdy blade, measuring 4 mm in thickness, and offers ease of sharpening. The handle, intricately designed with a Tsuchime, Hammer-tone pattern, is hand-forged. This exquisite blade is presented in a Paulownia tomentosa wood box, hand signed by Master Tomita Osamu.
