To get the most out of your strop, follow these simple steps:
1. rub the leather surface with your palm, apply light force and warm the leather up.
2. Gently glide one side and then the other side of your razor over the leather while trailing the cutting edge, maintaining a smooth and controlled motion. Start very slow to get a feel for the repeated motion, don't rush things. repeat 50-60 times.
3. Always draw the razor away from its cutting edge, applying light, even pressure on the blade until you reach the end of the strop.

Crafted with precision and care, our strop is handmade by us in Germany using traditional Japanese hand tools. It features a sturdy thick beechwood base and a layer of Japanese Shell Cordovan (Horse) leather. The beechwood is finished with an all-natural saflor wax for that perfect touch of authenticity.
Shell Cordovan is made out of the back part of Horses just a small part can be used. It is the most durable leather with the finest surface for stropping Kamisoris.
