Good condition vintage kamisori from Inoue Tosuke. The blade is marked 特撰・tokusen・specially selected and 金文字・kinmoji・gold lettering — the gold filled inscription Tosuke used on his refined grade. Below it stands the signature 井上藤助作・Inoue Tosuke saku, cut into the steel.
The handle is wrapped in natural rattan. The blade rests on a chirimen crepe silk cloth in a wooden box with an engraved lid.
Directly imported from Japan and restored by us to a hair-popping quality and sharpness.
